Although it is common to cite Isaiah鈥檚 remarkable prophecies about the Savior, Isaiah鈥檚 repeated teachings related to the poor usually don鈥檛 receive as much attention. In this episode, emeritus BYU Ancient Scripture professor Dana M. Pike shares his latest publication that magnifies Isaiah鈥檚 teachings to provide 鈥渁 strength to the poor鈥 (Isa. 25:4)鈥攁 timeless message applicable today. Dr. Pike also shares about his work on the Dead Sea Scrolls and insights about studying the Old Testament from his years of training and experience over his career.
